I had surgery on Friday.. My face is still swollen.. but my mouth has definitely gone in nicely... ^^ Before, I kept worrying about my first impression because I looked needlessly angry and blunt, then I found out about this surgery and looked into it here and there... But I had some resistance & fear about general anesthesia, and because I thought of it as major surgery(?) that moves bone, I only looked into other options that are relatively easier than protruding mouth surgery, like raising my nose or reducing my lips... Then a plastic surgeon I know recommended a doctor who is good at protruding mouth surgery, so I trusted that and had it done^^; Right now the swelling hasn’t gone down completely, so I don’t know for sure how it turned out... But right after surgery on the first day, my impression became cute (it actually swells more from the day after surgery), and my mom, who had been saying until the morning of surgery, “Your mouth doesn’t even protrude, you’re pretty without surgery -_-,” kept looking at me from the side and “You’ve become a completely different kid,” and she was so happy lol I think it’s true that this surgery changes your impression a lot... Most concerns with a protruding mouth are that the impression looks unsophisticated or blunt, and when you get this surgery, I think it changes you to an elegant, slim-lined (lol), pretty image... ^^ㅋ It hasn’t been long since surgery, so I still feel a bit uncomfortable, and I’m not sure how I wrote this... rambling..;; Anyway, if you have a protruding mouth and are worried about your impression, I think carefully looking into hospitals and getting surgery could become a turning point in your life... Of course the surgery cost is not exactly small, but for people whose protruding mouth is a complex, I think it’s definitely more worth it than other surgeries^^
