I had the silicone capsule removed, donated costal cartilage removed, and cartilage repositioning done. The contracture wasn’t severe, but I had a slight feeling of silicone pressure and pulling at the nasal tip, so I thought if this kept going, I might develop severe nasal contracture, and I just had everything removed. I only kept the tape on for about 2 days and took it off. No splint x no cotton packing x A lot of people also ask about contraction, and until 1 month post-op, I had an on-and-off slight pulling sensation from contraction. From 2 months on, I didn’t really feel anything. I think it was because the inside of my nose had healed hehe And a question a lot of people ask is whether the nasal tip lifts after total removal…
