I’ve had consultations at the three major places, but there wasn’t anywhere I felt was exactly right or that I definitely wanted to do it at, so I’m thinking of going to more hospitals. But the places that get mentioned a lot also have quite a wait for consultations. I’m scared that the contracture might progress further during that time. Since the three major places are famous for removal anyway, I’m wondering whether it would be better to pick one of them and remove it quickly, or wait a few more months and finish consultations elsewhere too. I’d appreciate advice from anyone who has had removal or revision surgery because of contracture.
