6 years ago, I had rhinoplasty with a septal support graft and silicone inserted. Starting 2 weeks ago, I had a little pain again, so I thought it would go away, but my nose swelled, felt hot, and the dull aching pain got worse, so I wanted to remove the silicone and booked consultations. Yesterday I visited ㅅㅅㅇ, and today I visited ㅍㄹㅁ, but the consultation details from the two places are so differentㅜ ㅅㅅㅇ recommended a closed approach with capsule removal, opposed removing the support graft, and said if the support graft is removed, the nose will turn upㅜㅜ And ㅍㄹㅁ said they would use an open approach, remove all the support graft, do cartilage repositioning, and that even if the support graft is removed, it won’t collapse and I shouldn’t worry about contractionㅜㅜ But right now…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
