Autologous Costal Cartilage Nasal Tip

I had nose surgery recently, and when designing it with the director, I absolutely asked them to make the columella and nasal tip angle around 90 degrees and to make sure it did not look upturned at all. I showed examples of surgeries done at the same clinic and said that even that kind of angle was a bit too much for me, and that I’m a man, so I definitely wanted the nasal tip lowered. But they said all those photos were from day 7, so once the swelling goes down, the nasal tip will all come down. It’s day 4 now, and my nasal tip is more upturned than I had expected. Even if autologous costal cartilage was used, will the nasal tip come down after 6 months?
