Last November, I had autologous costal cartilage, nasal valve surgery, nasal bridge, nasal tip, inferior turbinate, septum, and every functional surgery there was, even things I didn’t necessarily need, and it made breathing uncomfortable. I asked for it to look natural, but they made me into Pinocchio. The main reason I had surgery was because of my hump, but when I went to another hospital and got a CT scan, it looked like they hadn’t shaved it down. I went to two places for consultations about removal, and both doctors were puzzled about why the surgery had been done this way. Looking at the CT images, they said my autologous costal cartilage had calcified, so complete removal of the calcified area is impossible, and that functionally, too much had been manipulated.
