It’s been 10 years since I had an L-shaped silicone implant on the nasal bridge and nasolabial angle surgery, and I had been living fine, but recently I’m not sure if it got inflamed; it throbs, sometimes even gives me a headache, and instead of living anxiously, I want to remove everything for peace of mind. If I go to the place that did it, they know my case best and said they would do it for almost no cost, but I’ve also heard that removal has to be done well, so I’m debating whether I should go to a specialist hospital. When I went for a consultation at a specialist hospital, they said because it’s old silicone, the capsule needs to be removed. If I go to the original hospital, will it go well without side effects?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
