My original nose was a short nose, bulbous nose, and upturned nose. For my primary surgery, I had silicone, 45, septal extension, donated costal cartilage, short nose and bulbous nose correction, and nasolabial angle correction. I had early removal 10 days after the primary surgery, and to prevent collapse, they only tied the cartilage with dissolvable sutures. The first photo is my original nose, and the second is one month after removal. As of today, it has been one month since removal, and although the nasal tip wasn’t exactly soft, it didn’t feel heavy either. But after waking up, it feels extremely tight and upturned I really don’t know whether this is contraction or contracture. Could everyone share what it was like around one month after removal?
