It’s been about 5 years since I had surgery with silicone on the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. I don’t have any inflammation or anything like that at all right now, but since about 6 months ago, the nasal bridge area has felt numb/tingly and I can feel a foreign-body sensation, so I’m thinking of removing it. If I remove only the nasal bridge silicone through a closed approach, is the surgical recovery much faster? Can I return to daily life quickly without things like a splint or taping?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
