I had my deviated septum confirmed at an ENT clinic, and I have an appointment with Professor Jang Yong-ju at Asan Medical Center this October. It’s not just a deviated septum; ever since I hit my nose hard when I was young, it has been crooked in an S-shape. I can breathe more or less okay, but the shape is a bit like that, so I want to have surgery for both the deviated septum and crooked nose together. I think I’d be fine with it just being straight, without any implants or anything. Functionally, I just don’t want it to get worse than now. It took a long time to get an appointment with Professor Jang Yong-ju, and I barely managed to get one, but if he says I should have surgery, I’m debating whether I should do it…
