About 10 years ago, I had osteotomy for a hump nose and had about 2 mm of silicone inserted. I didn’t want an implant, but after the osteotomy, they said silicone had to be placed so the hump wouldn’t grow back, so silicone was laid in. These days it’s so uncomfortable. My nose aches, and my nose was already high to begin with, but with the silicone added, my nose looked really big and high. Sigh. Is there anyone who had a hump nose and then had osteotomy and either full removal or silicone removal? I’m worried because I was told it may look too broad from the front. I’d appreciate your opinions or shared experiences.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
