I had the L-shaped silicone removed, and the swelling between my eyebrows is Avatar-level. It’s day four, and I did cold compresses until day three. The splint was removed yesterday, and they said there was no blood pooling between the eyebrows. The bruising is yellowish now, so it feels like it’s healing, but the glabellar swelling is really... I heard that cold compresses for the first 2-3 days help prevent swelling by constricting blood vessels, and that after that, cold compresses actually don’t help much. I’m confused whether it’s better to alternate warm and cold compresses, or just do warm compresses to help blood circulation. Compresses themselves, too, early cold compresses help prevent swelling from forming, but …
