It has been one month since I had non-open removal of a 20-year-old straight silicone implant and ear cartilage from my nose. Yesterday was the one-month mark, so they took photos and compared them for me, and when I saw them, I could see the indentation where the nasal tip cartilage had been pressed by the ear cartilage. The director said it might improve a little, but sigh, even after removal I still feel anxious. I just hope it ends in this state, but I’ve heard that some people develop an upturned nose after a few years, and specialists online say that because the nasal cartilage is weak, over time it can deform by either drooping or rising.
