Because my columella is slightly recessed, they said they would bring it out just a little. Then they said that to do that, septal extension lengthening, is that the same thing, would be needed. Do people with a recessed columella need septal extension surgery? Is bringing out the columella septal extension? I think the doctor also briefly said something like, if not, they could insert a thicker columellar strut or something like that.
