It’s been almost 5 months since my nose surgery, and since the surgery I feel like I’m going crazy day by day. If anything happens even a little, I worry it might be inflammation, it swells, and because the cartilage shows through I’m scared, so I want to have it removed. First of all, my concern was a flared nose, so I had nasal base/alar base osteotomy, nostril lowering, 3 mm silicone, and ear cartilage used for the nasal tip, and I’m planning to remove the silicone and ear cartilage. 1 Do they always remove the capsule? 2 Between open and closed approaches, is a closed approach also possible? Which one is usually more recommended? 3 Does it swell a lot and hurt like during nose surgery 4 After removal, is there always a contraction period? Also, after it passes…
