Hi, I had rhinoplasty and paranasal augmentation 12 years ago. My nasal bridge was low and my nostrils were wide and spread out, and I had a slightly protruding mouth, so during the consultation they also recommended paranasal augmentation. After my first surgery, as soon as the splint was removed, my nostrils were lifted, and the silicone shape was strange too, but I thought it was just swelling and I think a year passed like that. For about the first 3-4 years, it was okay. By my standards the shape was strange, but it wasn’t very noticeable, and in photos, just having a nasal bridge was a big thing. But as time passed, there was pressure from the foreign material and the silicone showing through, and it was done with a closed approach…

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
