About the Alar Cartilage Coming Down

When you do cartilage tying, the alar cartilage gets tied and comes down on the upper side toward the nostril wing inside the nostril, right? It seems like that happens to some people and not to others, but anyway, if you remove it, do they restore that too, or do they just remove it and you live with the alar cartilage slightly protruding inside the nostril? I’m going to have it removed at the hospital where I had the surgery, but they said they’ll just remove the cartilage and won’t do cartilage repositioning or release the tied cartilage, so then wouldn’t it not go away? Since I only have donated rib cartilage, maybe I don’t necessarily need cartilage repositioning, but the cartilage…
