After leaving this community a year ago, I rejoined a few months ago, and I’m only writing now I’ll try to keep it as short as possible, but it may get a bit long hahaha
First, I’ll talk about what was hard.. I had my nose done a total of 4 times In 2021, I got it done by some doctor whose name included the syllable “poop,” and it completely ruined me That guy only had 3 years of experience, but he treated me so kindly that I went ahead with it, and that was my ignorance Before surgery, even in hard moments I was happy, but after surgery every day was depressing, and when morning came, instead of feeling refreshed, each day felt so heavy and hopeless Weekends were especially hard, because it was already decided that I would be home alone..
After spending 6 months like hell after the first surgery, I had revision surgery with a YouTuber doctor I thought things might get better, but after 1 month, when the period of scar tissue forming came, I couldn’t even look at it How am I supposed to live from now on? What about my life? I’m seriously completely screwed?... On many days, I drank alone and went to sleep hoping my eyes wouldn’t open the next day.. Somehow, I think I spent 8 months like hell
After that, I started thinking about removal I went for consultations with all of the so-called “top 4” people talk about People’s reviews were okay, and they were the only place that said complete removal was possible, so I had the removal done there After removal, when they took off the splint and I looked in the mirror, there was swelling, but I really thought, I’m completely back to my own nose!! I was so happy But that was only for a moment. From 2 weeks later, my nose started becoming hard Huh.. huh.. fuck, why is the shape changing?;; I painfully realized this was the contraction period people talk about Especially around months 2 to 3, it became so, so ugly Around 6 months, it became a liiittle.. bearable? But that was the end of it;; They said it was because the nose had become weakened from being touched, and there was nothing to support it.. I thought I had researched quite a lot before doing it, but the result was like this, so I fell into frustration and despair like crazy, but there was nowhere lower to go At that time, I happened to watch an anime called “The 5 Billion Year Button” Somehow it was hilarious, and I thought, let’s try to endure the remaining 50 to 60 years as much as possible.. Of course, I also had extreme thoughts, but when I thought about how sad my family would be, I felt like I would become a worse bastard than a violent criminal So I stopped thinking about it. Of course, I was scared too...
Around December 2022, I also met people in an open chat room of about 10 people, and at that time I think I received a lot of comfort and help.. I accidentally left all the open chat rooms, so I had no choice but to say goodbye to those people too, and I felt so sorry
Hoo.. anyway, my last surgery was reconstructive surgery in April last year It was done with ear cartilage and what remained inside my nose The surgery focused on reinforcing the weakened areas, and I showed photos from before surgery and asked them to make it as similar to that nose as possible To tell you the conclusion first, I’m very happy now.. Of course there are things I still feel are lacking, but it doesn’t interfere with daily life at all Thinking of the 2 years I lost, I actually feel grateful day by day and think I’m living more diligently
During the roughly 2 years that were hard, I was overweight, introverted.. I just had no confidence in anything, no hope, and each day was despair itself But now exercising is fun, and I come out as extroverted.. At some point, I found myself talking well with people too..
If rhinoplasty ruins your nose, I know painfully well that all you can think about is wanting to remove everything that’s in there.. But I think there are people who need complete removal, and people like me who need reinforcement Please don’t judge too hastily, and you absolutely need to wait 6 months.. If it’s a revision surgery, I think you need to wait 1 year for it to soften a bit If the nose becomes hard, surgery doesn’t go well either, and scar tissue forms more strongly.. To talk briefly about skin.. On YouTube they talk about things like new-skin acupuncture, but that kind of thing had no effect at all I think it’s better not to trust anyone who says you must see a dermatologist within 1 month after surgery I spent a damn lot of money at dermatology clinics, but time solves 90% of it on its own For now, I recommend waiting at least 1 year before going
Also, don’t ever do it again at a place that ruined it once.. That person already has absolutely no understanding of that nose When meeting doctors too, don’t blindly trust them just because they speak well on YouTube Look at reputation, the doctor’s skill, and kindness all together..
Lastly, we didn’t do anything wrong We all tried because we wanted to become prettier and more handsome.. People often say the opposite of success is failure But failure at least means you tried.. If you hadn’t done anything, nothing would have happened Unless you’re addicted to plastic surgery, it’s definitely that damn doctor bastard’s fault A solution definitely exists.. Doctors only told me hopeless things too I think only the last doctor truly and sincerely told me, with all their heart, “I’ll fix it,” and that one sentence fixed me
Never give up, and please stay strong, everyone.. Good days will definitely come!!
This got too long, so I’ll stop here.. I’m sorry for the profanity in the middle Thank you for reading this long post
