I know that hospitals these days put in a lot of things like MegaDerm, but I wanted people to know that there are also many people who are worried after having this put in because their nose became thicker and it was partially absorbed, so I'm leaving this post. The hospital I consulted with that suggested putting in MegaDerm said that it is true that it gets absorbed, and that if it gets absorbed, they can put it in again non-incisionally. Would people who are removing it want to lie on the operating table again? Unless complete removal is impossible, or unless the nose becomes a saddle nose and you have to leave a small support strut, I wrote this because I want to say that I personally think complete removal feels relieving and is better.
