Removal of Ear-Cartilage Columellar Strut

12 years ago, I had surgery with silicone and ear cartilage, using an ear-cartilage columellar strut, cartilage tying, and cartilage stacked on top. I’m having total removal this week, and I’m debating whether to remove even the ear cartilage placed between the alar cartilages. When I read removal reviews, there seem to be side effects like columellar retraction or protrusion of the alar cartilage, so I wonder if leaving the ear-cartilage columellar strut in place would be okay. Since it’s been 10 years, I think the ear cartilage may be heavily adheredㅠㅠ Would it be better to just leave it rather than remove it forcefully? I’m removing it because of visible nasal-tip cartilage, foreign-body sensation, and pressure pain, so I just want the nasal-tip cartilage completely…
