I had rhinoplasty with silicone on the nasal septum, and I want to remove only the silicone. I see removing even the septal cartilage as a major surgery, and since it was harvested from my own body, I thought there wouldn’t be inflammation later. But I think the biggest side effects I’m worried about are inflammation and contracture, so if I leave only the nasal tip, could any other problems occur?

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
