I’m having removal surgery this coming Saturday, and the doctor said it would be better to leave the nasal support in, but if I don’t leave it in, the nose could collapse. Why would it collapse? Is it because the nose is hollow from the septal harvest? I want to remove everything if possible because I’m worried that if I leave it, only the tip will stick out again like a witch’s nose. Are there separate cases where the support must be left in and cases where it should not be left in?
