In February of this year, I had my first surgery with silicone and autologous costal cartilage, but inflammation developed within a month, so I had it removed. One month ago, I had revision rhinoplasty at another hospital using silicone and donated costal cartilage. Since it was a revision surgery, I really managed everything diligently. I didn’t drink or smoke at all, slept well, ate proper meals, and took all the prescribed medication properly, but again, one month after surgery, there was a smell coming from my nose, so I immediately rushed to the hospital. But the director said they couldn’t know unless they opened up my nose, and concluded that it was not inflammation.
