I don’t have any functional problems yet, but because I’m scared that there is a columellar strut in the nasal tip, afraid that cartilage show-through may happen later, and because my nasal tip feels a bit high by my standards, maybe because the swelling hasn’t gone down enough, I’ve been considering early or later removal. I did take a step back after hearing that the contracture phase comes severely with early removal. I had my hump shaved down and a columellar strut built with cartilage from one ear. I don’t know whether cartilage was placed on top.
