I had a normal nose. After surgery, my allergic rhinitis became x10, x100 worse. Sigh. I even developed symptoms I never had before, and many ENT clinics said that, considering the original condition of my natural nose, this outcome after surgery means I was actually very lucky, and that I could have suffered terribly with unbearable empty nose syndrome or had a complete disaster. Even to me, it was a normal nose with no problems, but I lost my mind thinking functional rhinoplasty might make my mild allergic rhinitis issue a bit better. It didn’t get better at all. If anything, it got worse. Seriously, unless your nose is so blocked you feel like you’re dying, life is too hard, and you can’t live like this, don’t get functional rhinoplasty...
