Is there anyone who has had nasal silicone removed? About 1 year after my first surgery, it was not at all the nose I wanted, so I had revision surgery with added nasal tip extension using ear cartilage. From about 3 months after the revision surgery, the silicone area on the nasal bridge started swelling, and it continued for 3 months, so 2 weeks ago I had surgery to remove the silicone. While the inflammation was developing, my symptoms were absent except for swelling. They said we should do removal surgery right away, so I did not have the capsule removed and only had the silicone taken out. Since it was inflammation, after silicone removal they disinfected it with antibiotics, and I took antibiotics for 5 days. Currently, I have a one-month supply of Rizaben and other medication…
