When using septal cartilage not for septal extension, but only to reposition and fix the alar cartilage, probably in cases like rotation grafting too, they may harvest and use septal cartilage, so could things like nasal collapse or saddle nose occur? Usually during consultations, other directors said they use only ear cartilage for rotation grafting or for repositioning and fixing the alar cartilage, but at just one hospital, the director said they tend to fix that with septal cartilage and that they prefer it.
