First of all, I wanted to leave the nasal bridge as it is, slightly shave only the hump, and naturally raise only the nasal tip with septal cartilage or ear cartilage. I had consultations at 4 places today, and maybe because 2 places didn’t look at a CT, they said it could be done with septal cartilage. The other 2 places were run by otolaryngology specialists, and both looked at the CT and their first words were, “You had double jaw surgery, right?” So I said yes, and they said that when you have double jaw surgery, the base of the septum is all cut and damaged, so the nasal tip can’t be raised with septal cartilage Both places said I need autologous costal cartilage. So even though I said I only want to raise the nasal tip just a tiny bit, autologous costal cartilage…
