It has been 6 weeks since I had the nose surgery. Because the septum was said to be sufficiently roomy, I had rhinoplasty with septal-based extension of the nasal tip using ear cartilage augmentation and silicone on the nasal dorsum. Since the splint was removed at 2 weeks, the right nostril already looked narrow to the eye, and because it was told to be due to swelling, I waited until now. Around week 4, because breathing was difficult, I visited an otolaryngology clinic. The left side could be checked with an endoscope, but on the right side the nasal airway was so narrow that even a thin endoscope could not be inserted. I kept taking rhinitis medication and waited it out, and by around week 5 the right nostril was still narrow in the airway space…
