So far, I’m recovering without any problems, both appearance-wise and functionally. In my memory, I thought I had had a really high silicone implant put in, so I thought my nose would become completely broad and flat if I removed it. But when I got a CT scan, it turned out it wasn’t that high. It did get about 2 mm lower, but not as much as I’d worried, and so far there’s no step-off either, so I’m satisfied. To the point where I think I should’ve removed it sooner. But whether it’s surgery or removal, I think how things change long-term after 3 years, 5 years, etc., and what side effects there may be are more important than what’s immediately visible, so I’m not letting my guard down yet…
