My eyes were already a little big, and I already had a hidden double eyelid, so I thought maybe I shouldn't do it..... But I had a double eyelid crease that disappears when I open my eyes -_- and a bit of an epicanthal fold in front, so before I knew it I just went ahead and did it ㅋㅋㅋ They said not to eat anything if possible from 4 hours before surgery, so I didn't eat... and arrived at the hospital around 1 p.m. After the final consultation with the doctor - I kept wavering about whether to do the front canthoplasty or not, until the very end ㅋㅋ - after the doctor drew on my eyes with a pen... I went into the operating room ㅎㅎ The surgery bed was narrower than I expected, and there were several people having surgery in the same operating room... Actually, just before I went in, I ended up seeing someone else's surgery; it wasn't even on the face, it was their body... Thanks to that, my fear level went up 100 times... Anyway, as soon as I lay down, the nurses were all around me, one checking my pulse, another inserting the IV needle, and another disinfecting my face... it was chaotic. But the weird thing was, I was told this was painless anesthesia.. I thought, like other people said, I would fall asleep. I never fell asleep at all; from beginning to end I heard the doctor's voice and the song playing... and I felt the stinging too. Later, according to the nurse, even if your ears are open, you're asleep, they said.... I still don't understand it /./// Anyway, the surgery ended much faster than I expected. Other than the slight stinging here and there, it seemed like a very comfortable surgery.. It just felt like my eyelids were being pulled; that's about it; Right now I'm still doing cold compresses, drinking green tea, and eating pumpkin porridge. But after surgery, they put a lot of skin-colored tape around the front of my eyes and over my eyelids... just thinking about going to the hospital tomorrow to have the stitches removed like this feels suffocating..ㅠㅠ My mom went on a trip, so I have to use public transportation..... phew... And right now there's no way for me to check my progress at all^^; Anyway, once the tape comes off and the stitches are removed, I'll upload photos! Seriously, the double eyelid part doesn't hurt at all, so if you're planning to get it done, don't be nervous at all! Fighting~
