Well.. as you can see, it is exactly like the photos.. I was going to post this in the male members’ board, but this board seems to have more people, so I am just posting it here.. Around the winter of 2004, I had double eyelid surgery at a certain plastic surgery clinic in Ulsan.. It was done with the incision method, and they said an out-fold double eyelid looks greasy on men, so I got an in-fold double eyelid.. The price was 500,000 won.. However, as they say, you get what you pay for. Was it because the price was cheap? As you can see in the photos above, it has been about 3 years since the surgery, but it still looks as obvious as if I just had it done.. People around me notice right away.. I have heard everything from “all the incision scars are visible” to “did you maybe get an illegal double eyelid procedure?”.. Even with the incision method, after about a year, it usually becomes somewhat less obvious, but for me, even after about 3 years, it is still the same.. Judging from the current state, I think it will be hard for it to look natural even after several more years pass.. I feel like I will keep being suspected of having had double eyelid surgery..ㅠ Especially because I am a man, when I hear things like “it looks like you had double eyelid surgery” or “all the incision scars show,” I feel really startled.. Most people still have a negative view of male cosmetic surgery, don’t they.. Because it looks so obvious, when I am sleepy, I cannot even comfortably close my eyes and doze off around other people.. because the surgical signs become very obvious.. And when I sleep, my eyes do not close completely either.. I sleep with my eyes slightly open on their own.. This seems to be a phenomenon that sometimes appears among people who had double eyelid surgery with the incision method.. Because of this, I have even been misunderstood as sleeping with my eyes open;; Anyway, I am unhappy with so many things.. sigh.. The double eyelid surgery I had because I wanted my face to look even a little better now seems to have become the biggest flaw in my face instead.. If it was going to turn out like this, I think it would have been better not to do it at all.. Phew.. Honestly, I feel like I want to reveal the clinic name outright, but according to this site’s rules, I will not disclose it.. I really do not know whether I need revision surgery or what I should do.. Thinking that I have to keep living with such obvious surgical signs is overwhelming.. ;; Anyway, not only for double eyelids but for any cosmetic surgery, I hope you do it at a skilled hospital that has been verified by many people here. I am posting this because I feel annoyed and frustrated..
