It has been 500 days since that time when I really regretted the surgery and suffered like crazy... hahaha I can laugh about it now, but back then, really... After spending so much money, what if I got side effects.. What if there was barely any effect? Day by day I would laugh, then feel sad; my emotions really went up and down a lot. And the pain after surgery was so severe!! Even when sleeping I felt anxious, when lowering my head I felt anxious, and even when eating ㅠㅠ The anxiety when lowering my head.. lasted for a year. Those who know that feeling like the bone is shifting forward will know. Unlike eye or nose surgery, cheekbone surgery has things you need to manage, and for several months after surgery you struggle with eating and worry constantly about side effects. So I think it really is a difficult surgery~ Anyway, my introduction got long, First of all, I’m satisfied with the surgical result. My swelling went down quickly, so I never suffered emotionally because of swelling, and after surgery I lost weight from 56 kg to 48 kg ㅋ Because of the difficulty eating, and because when my cheekbones protruded even a little weight loss would show first in my cheeks, I had intentionally gained weight because I looked skeletal. My face became slimmer and I lost weight too, so I’m really satisfied with that part. But maybe human desire has no end; honestly, I’m not 100% satisfied. My facial contour itself is small, but my cheekbones protruded severely, so after surgery it’s not that I have no cheekbones at all; they are still there. The doctor says there is a limit to how much the cheekbones can be pushed in and shaved, so they cannot be completely eliminated. The amount that can be moved in also differs depending on whether the cheekbones are severe or not. You all know, right?ㅋㅋ Honestly, the face shape I wanted was Ryeowon’s. A face shape that drops straight down with no cheekbones at allㅠㅠ Park Han-byul too.. Jun Ji-hyun too.. =_=;; This damn greed... Some days my cheekbones looked prominent, and some days my face looked oval, so I was often frustrated by my different-looking face every day, but when I look at old photos, really, whoa whoa whoa..ㅡ,.ㅡ;; I wonder how I met men and lived with that face; it does feel like the money was worth it ㅋ I still don’t have any side effects, and although I wish they had gone in more, I’m just going to be satisfied and live like this. People around me also say my face has become half the size and that I’ve become prettier. People who don’t know I had surgery say I had a glow-up;; That doesn’t mean my face is pretty, just that it’s better than before ㅋㅋㅋ But strangely, among people who had cheekbone surgery, I’ve almost never seen reviews from people more than a year out.. Did everyone come and go constantly only at the beginning when they were fired up, and now they don’t come at all~~~ Please leave even a little piece of writing like I did. I’m curious how others are doing. Where did all the people who had surgery around the same time as me go~ Let’s give hope or advice to people who will have surgery in the future...^-^ Lastly, to those thinking about surgery.. Please think dozens of times, and unless you truly hate having a face with cheekbones.. Unless you have heard things like, bluntly as I did, “Your cheekbones are severe. You should shave your cheekbones down” (once a boy in middle school said it, and once a friend said itㅠㅠ I heard it a few other times too), please do not consider surgery. It is not a simple surgery to get just because you think, “I don’t like that my cheekbones protrude a bit.” The money is one thing, but the mental and physical suffering make it a truly difficult surgery. There can be side effects too, so do it at a hospital you can trust, and if you have scheduled a surgery date, I hope you get a happy surgical result. Thank you for reading this long post, and have a good day^-^
