Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

10 days after jaw surgery.. the lower jaw looks like it was patched with cement…

By the one-week mark, most of the swelling had gone down and only the residual swelling was left. I could fit three fingers in, so I was eating well too, and unless it was something too tough, I chewed and ate it. But since yesterday, the scar tissue has been no joke. The inside of my mouth is itchy too, and it feels like the scar tissue is getting bigger. The lower part of my jaw (I had the front chin shaved) has scar tissue that’s as hard as bone, so it feels so heavy and big that I wonder if it will really go down. After the surgery, the doctor told me to touch my face. They said that later, when scar tissue forms, a lot of people say, “Maybe you didn’t cut all the bone,”^^ But my lower-jaw scar tissue is so big that when I wash my face, the feeling is just weird. It feels like it was patched up with cement. . And my lower lip is still numb. It feels like I got frostbite? If I pinch it, it hurts, so it seems like the nerves are still alive, but it’s such a strange feeling. If I rub my lips together, it feels a little like when a blister has gotten bigger. Anyway, it’s weird. It’ll come back soon, right? . For those who’ve had jaw surgery, what does your scar tissue feel like? Let’s share information about scar tissue together
