Review on day 8 after square jaw surgery

From the surgery process to day 8 after surgery It was my first time under general anesthesia, and the anesthesiologist came and said, “Okay, it’s going in.” I was thinking, I’m going to see how long it takes to fall asleep under general anesthesia!! and blinked once with my eyes wide open, but after that I was out of it. (I don’t even think I got an injection, anyway it was fascinating.) And when I woke up, I thought this: I shouted “I’m not anesthetized yet!!” 3 times (I guess I thought they were about to start the surgery then.. It was so fascinating that I wanted to talk about it, but until this morning I was a bandage person, so I couldn’t speak. hehe^^ (because of unclear pronunciation) Days 2, 3, and 4 after surgery are when you swell the most, and when you wake up after sleeping you become a pufferfish person. A pufferfish person!! Pressing the parts swollen like a pufferfish became my hobby. (When I was little and went fishing, I used to play with pufferfish a lot.. hehe) Whenever my younger sibling came home, they laughed because it was funny, so I tried to hold in my laughter too, but I thought my stitches would burst.^^ On day 5 the swelling went down a little, and on day 6 a lot of the swelling went down. For food, the hospital told me to eat thin rice gruel, grain powder drinks, soy milk, etc., but for those who get too sick of it, blending tomatoes to eat was good too (not irritating), and mixing grain powder into yogurt and soy milk had just the right seasoning and was tasty. Day 7 after surgery --> Took off the bandage and removed all the stitches, but one stitch area was swollen so they left only that one in Current condition Uncomfortable points --> My face pulls a lot when I smile, the lower part of my face looks like I’m holding candy in my mouth so it doesn’t feel like my original face, and the scar tissue or that area is hard, so it feels a bit strange. (They said this gradually disappears)//There are so many things I want to eat.. I’m still shaking from hunger now (waiting for my younger sibling to bring porridge) Good points --> It changed from a square line to a U-line^^ I don’t think there are any problems with facial sensation or nerves. Before surgery, I got a lot of help from this community, so I wanted to write in detail, but I just left a post on that hospital’s homepage too, so I don’t have the energy to write anymore... (Please understand even if the writing is strange..) For those who had square jaw surgery, what are you eating now?? I’ll post again next time^^
