No consultation fee I applied after seeing an Instagram ad and went in. I had been thinking of arm liposuction as something I would do after finishing my diet, just to take care of stubborn fat... but I really went all of a sudden.
I had an appointment at 1:30, but after changing clothes, getting an InBody scan, and pushing them along, the consultation with the consultant finally started after 2:05. The consultant’s consultation was good. Since she had done it herself, the consultation was detailed, and I liked that she spoke honestly. As soon as she looked at the quality of my skin/fat, she asked if I had suddenly gained weight and then suddenly lost it. When I said yes, she said my upper arms had very little elasticity, unlike other parts of my upper body. So even if I did liposuction, my clothing fit would improve, but when wearing sleeveless tops, the kind of effect where the arms look pretty is something I could create by exercising hard, not arms that can be created with liposuction. She told me that clearly.
According to the InBody results too, I have upper-body obesity, and the areas were the upper arms, bra line, and clavicle area, plus the hump, which means the fat on the back of the neck. The place that bothers me most is the back of my neck, and I didn’t know this was an area where liposuction was possible. For the clavicle area, she said she had done it herself and showed me, saying rather than making the bones look sharply exposed or making you look extremely thin, it just has the effect of making the body itself look a bit less large, so she told me to consider it. I like my cute clavicles with a bit of flesh on them. But I really liked that the hump was possible. And there is an additional cost depending on BPM.
For aftercare, there was manual care and Tune care.
There are two directors. One is a female director everyone would recognize right away if they saw her face, and the other is a male director who has 6 years of liposuction experience and was trained by that female director. For people with good elasticity, the design line has to be considered and done very delicately, so she said she would recommend the female director more, but for arms like mine with poor elasticity, even if the fat is removed, the line will not come alive because of the lack of elasticity, so she recommended the male director’s style, whose strength is removing fat very aggressively, as a better fit. She also said he is cheaper in terms of price.
There was supposed to be a consultation with the director afterward too, but I had only planned about 1 hour and had another schedule, so I decided to do the director consultation next time and put down a reservation deposit... (?)
The price is quite a lot more expensive than other places, and even if I don’t do the upper arms, I definitely want to do areas like the hump and bra line. But if I think about it, I’ll probably end up doing everything. She said she also worked from the very next day after doing everything, but the aching and pain lasted about a week, and the compression garment is not something you wear continuously, but for 10 hours a day, so she said I could just wear it while sleeping. She said short sleeves may show some bruising, and depending on where the bruises appear, she could say whether I could wear them or not.
While I was waiting for the consultation, a lot of people who obviously looked like they had liposuction came and went. Maybe they had done their thighs or abdomen, because their walking... looked really painful.... Will my arms hurt like that too... future me... I’m worried... but since that’s not current me, I decided to think about it next time for now...
