It’s day 10 since I had abdominal liposuction at Dr. Fit in Nonhyeon! This was my first cosmetic surgery, and I’m the type who worries a lot, so I really did a lot of online research and watched all kinds of review videos. While looking up various side effects, I decided: the results are important, but let’s go somewhere that can minimize side effects too! I first found out about Dr. Fit through YouTube, and compared with other clinics, there weren’t that many reviews, but that actually made me trust them more. It didn’t seem like a clinic that aggressively manages reviews!
Dr. Fit does 2 surgeries a day, they’re kind, and they consider safety important; there are a lot of those points in other reviews too, so I’ll write about other things!
I have a keloid-prone constitution. So before surgery, I thought about it a lot and searched for related reviews, but there weren’t many ㅜㅜ So for this review, I’m going to talk about liposuction as someone with a keloid-prone constitution,,
When I was young, after surgery my scar became raised, and that’s how I found out I was keloid-prone. Before my liposuction surgery, I went to a university hospital and got it checked once again. The doctor at Dr. Fit said that even if a university hospital confirms keloids, they cannot guarantee it 100% before a biopsy. What he said was right, but since I suffered from it when I was young, I was full of worries about scars.. haha
The doctor told me ways to prevent keloids and what can be done if the scar starts to rise.
Before surgery - For a total of 3 weeks, from 1 week before surgery to 2 weeks after surgery, take 1 tablet once a day. - Since it’s an immunomodulator, it doesn’t interfere with daily life at all. - It’s also commonly taken for surgical procedures besides liposuction, so it has high safety! - They say taking this medication prevents it in 90% of cases.
After surgery - Keloids don’t rise immediately after surgery! So you have to keep watching carefully after surgery. - He told me to contact the clinic right away if the scar seems to rise even a little. They said they would check the condition then and prescribe injections, etc.
After hearing this explanation, I decided to get liposuction. I’m really worried about keloid scars, but even considering that, I thought the benefits I could get from surgery were significant. And at Dr. Fit, the incisions are 2 near the pubic area, 1 at the navel, and 1 on the back, so I thought the scars could be sufficiently covered in daily life.
Right now it’s been about 10 days since surgery. It still isn’t the time when keloids would appear, so it’s hard to leave a related review yet ㅜㅜ I’ll leave another review about that later.
Even though I bruise easily, I had almost no bruising, and after 4-5 days the bruises faded rapidly; now there’s just a little left on my thigh. From days 1-3, aside from feeling dazed by my reduced belly and it being hell when lying down and getting up, it wasn’t very difficult. On days 4-6, the swelling was really so severe that the compression in my groin made my legs feel numb. The compression garment was squeezing from the outside, and inside my abdomen it was swelling up like air being pumped into a balloon,, it was really hard, so I endured the pain and walked while doing lymphatic massage. From after day 6, the swelling has been going down day by day, and my condition is gradually improving.
This was my very satisfying day-10 review.
