Review of Non-Implant Hump Nose Surgery

At first, I hesitated to get nose surgery because I was worried that inflammation might develop and lead to contracture, and I was also worried that they would insist I had to put in an implant (silicone, autologous costal cartilage, etc.). But when I had a consultation with the director, they treated me very comfortably and kindly. They said my nose already had a bridge and a hump, so I didn’t necessarily need silicone or autologous costal cartilage. They said that with non-implant surgery, just slightly shaving down the hump bone and using a little ear cartilage and septal cartilage to refine only the nasal tip would make my nose look nice. That put me at ease, so I scheduled the surgery date right away on the consultation day and had the surgery. A week later, after the splint was removed, I looked at my nose, and even though the swelling had not fully gone down yet, I really liked it. Now, at one month, after much of the major swelling has gone down, I think it turned out very natural. For a man’s nose, I was worried that if it looked too flashy, it would be obvious I had surgery, so I specifically asked for a straight line, and they listened to my request very well. I’m really satisfied!

This review is a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
