It’s already been 6 months since I had rhinoplasty at the clinic. I had surgery for a hooked nose, long nose, and functional rhinoplasty, and the surgery used silicone for the nasal bridge + septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Recently, since it was my 6-month mark, I went back to the clinic after a long time for a follow-up, and they said there were no issues and that it’s in the stable phase. It’s been a while since the surgery, so I had forgotten what I looked like before, but every time I see my pre-op photos, I think I made the right decision haha. My original nose wasn’t extremely strange, but the hump was severe and my nose was long, so my impression looked strong and my midface looked long. Now, compared to before, I definitely have more nasal bridge height, and since the line changed to a straight one, I think it emphasizes a more masculine look. I like working out, so I had a lot of worries about getting rhinoplasty itself, but now that it’s stable, there’s no problem at all when exercising. Everyone who sees me says having the nose surgery looks much better too! I wanted only the nose line to change to a straight line without my overall impression changing too much, and I think the director listened well to that part. Thanks to that, it doesn’t feel unnatural, and many people don’t even know I had rhinoplasty unless I tell them first. I also like taking photos, and after the rhinoplasty, I think I take way more photos than before haha. Personally, I think some residual swelling was visible until around 3 months post-op, and after that it kept going down steadily. Now the director also says it seems like the swelling has gone down completely. One thing I’m worried about is whether the nasal tip might droop, but the director said the chance of drooping is low, so I just hope it stays maintained like this without drooping!
