Nose Surgery Reviews

I had nose surgery with costal cartilage and ear cartilage

I already had a fairly defined nasal bridge. I didn’t have many complaints about my nose, but whenever I suddenly looked in the mirror or took photos, I hated how blunt and bulbous my nasal tip looked, and photos from the front never came out pretty, so I think I always took them from the side. Then I saw an ad for ㅇㅆ on Instagram, and it looked so natural yet glamorous, so I didn’t even think much and had it done there. I didn’t go for consultations at any other clinics. First of all, they don’t have CT, and the consultation felt like it lacked a lot of professionalism. I talked with the consultant first, then the director came in for maybe about 10 minutes..? He just lifted my nose with a cotton swab, said his opinion, and left. That was it. I live outside Seoul, so going around to many clinics felt like too much of a waste, so I just did it, but I seriously regret it. At first, I went in thinking I would only do the nasal tip with a closed approach, but during the consultation they said my ears were too small and they needed more material, and to do that it had to be open surgery, so I did it open. I hadn’t even thought about silicone, but they put silicone in too. On the day of surgery, I felt a bit anxious, so even while closing my eyes on the operating table, I asked them to make it look natural. Oh, and this place had absolutely no aftercare. Looking at other places, they do things like swelling laser care or sebum care. Anyway, my face is not the glamorous type; my features are small and delicate. But after the nose surgery, my impression completely changed to a masculine feel. Every acquaintance I meet asks why my impression became so strong... When I look at photos too, I honestly look like a trans woman.... I really hope it’s just swelling... By my standards, the nasal bridge is way too high and it doesn’t harmonize with my face. Does the doctor not know what “natural” means? Anyway, it’s been over a month now, and if it still looks like this after the swelling goes down, I’m going to go around for consultations and get revision surgery. I’ve been so stressed these past few days. The only advantage I know of at this clinic is that the nurses are kind. Only after surgery did I realize that there are so many clinics that create truly natural and pretty nose shapes. I guess this is why you have to look into things carefully and properly before doing it. I also think it’s largely my fault for getting surgery too recklessly. They also overcorrected my nasal tip, so it looks freaking upturned, like a pig nose. This will drop, right? I saw someone in this clinic’s reviews say it was still the same even after a year. Ha... everyone, make sure you research carefully before doing it. If you leave any questions in the comments, I’ll tell you everything I know.

This is a surgery review pursuing a natural look.
