It’s already been one month since my nose surgery~ I originally had a hump nose, with the nasal tip slightly blunt and drooping, and a short bulbous nose. From the front, it looked a bit dull, and from the side, I was often told that the hump made my impression look strong. So rather than aiming for a huge change, my goal was an overall neat, straight-looking nose with a refined line. I had my consultation with Director Jung Young-hoon at OOD, and maybe because he has done many male rhinoplasty cases, he clearly set the direction to suit my face shape and impression. He said that rather than raising it excessively, it would be better to smooth out the hump area and slightly raise the nasal tip line so it connects softly. Among the several places I consulted, this place suited my style the most, so I decided right away. Right after surgery, there was quite a bit of swelling, but after about 2 weeks it got much better. At first, breathing was a little uncomfortable and awkward, but as time passed I adjusted quickly, and now the nasal tip no longer looks blunt and feels much cleaner. The hump area also straightened naturally, so the side line is smooth, and the downward drooping nasal tip was corrected, so overall I think the balance has improved. It hasn’t fully settled yet, but even just looking at how it is now, it’s definitely different compared to before, so I’m satisfied. It doesn’t look artificial either, and since I’m a man I didn’t want it to look overly obvious, so in that regard I think the surgery went well.
