From days 2 to 4, the swelling and bruising were severe, and because my nose was blocked, I could not sleep properly. Still, from day 5, when I was able to breathe through my nose, I really felt like I could live again. Until the one-week mark, it was physically very difficult, but I could feel myself gradually recovering. From the first month, I was able to eat soft foods and go out without much difficulty. Comparing before and after orthognathic surgery, I was satisfied because my facial line and jaw asymmetry had really improved a lot. It has now been 6 months since my orthognathic surgery. In the beginning, the swelling was severe and my pronunciation felt awkward, but now my face looks much more natural. The swelling has not completely gone down yet, but I have no discomfort at all in daily life. I can eat almost everything well, and my pronunciation has become much clearer than before. Especially when comparing before and after orthognathic surgery, my facial line looks more refined, and my impression has become much softer. People around me have also often told me that I look younger haha. Director Shin Hee-jin carefully looked after me from before the surgery through postoperative orthodontic treatment, so the recovery process felt stable. Now I can go about daily life without difficulty, and most of all, my old complex about my jaw is gone, so I have gained confidence. I was told it takes about a year for the swelling to completely subside and for the face to settle, so I plan to wait a little longer. I am already very satisfied with the results so far, and I really feel that getting orthognathic surgery was the right decision~!
