Review from immediately after breast surgery to day 2 Immediately after surgery: It seems like it took about 2 hours to wake up from the anesthesia.. As soon as I woke up, it was hard to breathe, and my chest felt extremely tight and painful Day 1: Everyone said it feels like a truck driving over your chest, and it was like that for me too.. It was impossible to get up from bed by myself, and I could barely lift my arms Day 2: The truck-running-over-me feeling is almost gone, but instead the inframammary incision area feels like it’s burning + being cut with a knife It really hurts so much, and the medication the clinic gave me wasn’t enough, so I took 6 Tylenols.. +I think you definitely need to buy Tylenol in advance, and it would be good to have shower wipes They said I have to remove the bandage on day 4, so I’m so curious For now, it hurts so much that I’m slightly regretting it..
