Day 7 Review After Breast Surgery at DT Plastic Surgery

It has already been almost a week since my surgery. I have a wide rib cage and a fairly broad back, so I got 350 cc Motiva Ergonomix implants on each side, and I’m perfectly satisfied with the size right now. The surgery was done through an inframammary incision in the subfascial plane. I wanted to do a transaxillary incision because I don’t really have underarm creases, but they said the scar would be very visible. On the day of surgery, I was so nervous that I felt out of it, but before going into the operating room, the nurses kindly explained everything, so I felt much more at ease. The anesthesiologist also calmly reassured me, so I was less scared. The surgery was over as soon as I closed and opened my eyes, and when I came to in the recovery room, the nurse brought me pumpkin porridge and water, so I felt reassured and fortified. After that, they also explained the stretching method in detail, which was very helpful. It hurts a lot at first, but they said recovery goes well if you keep stretching consistently, so I’m working hard at it. On day 3, I had the taping removed and started wearing a compression bra and upper band. Personally, maybe because it was subfascial, sleeping was quite difficult for the first 3 days. Still, from day 4 onward it gradually got better, and now I’ve adapted a lot. Even my silhouette has changed, so I’m really, really looking forward to the days ahead.
