There aren’t many reviews of revision double-jaw surgery, so I thought there might be people who are thinking about it, so I’m going to write a real review. After double-jaw surgery, my asymmetry got worse, and as time went by my face looked longer, so it was incredibly stressful. Revision surgery seemed like a crazy thing to do, so I just lived with my face as it was, but an acquaintance had double-jaw surgery and was hospitalized, so I went to visit them. I ended up having a consultation by chance, and after taking a CT, the director said that after double-jaw surgery, my asymmetry had become abnormally severe, and whether a pin had come loose during surgery or not, there was a pin embedded in an area where it should not be. I was so shocked that I contacted my previous hospital, but that doctor had left the hospitalㅠㅠ When I asked what I should do to have the pin removed, they said it was embedded toward the back of my neck, so they probably recommended revision surgery. I went to two other hospitals too, but they said pin removal would be too difficult, and that revision surgery was dangerous too, so I should not do it. I gave up on it, but after a year passed, I really disliked my face, and the pin kept bothering me, so I finally made up my mind and went for another consultation. I said I was scared of revision surgery and didn’t think I would see much effect, but the director was very confident and said I would see results, and he spent over 30 minutes just on the consultation. So I paid the deposit and had the surgery. From the start, the director’s credentials were on another level, so I trusted him and went through with it. It’s been 1 year now, and I’m very satisfied and grateful to the director. And I also found out I had inflammation at the tooth root, which I hadn’t known about, and got it treated. ㅠㅠ The problem is that the sagging is so severe.... Maybe because it was a revision surgery, it’s been 1 year, but the sagging in my double chin and under my jaw is driving me crazy. I did Elasticum, but it had zero effect, so I guess a lift is the answer? Double-jaw surgery really should be finished with the first surgery from the start.. Please go somewhere good and avoid needing revision surgery, everyone~!
