I feel grateful every day after double jaw surgery!

Hello! This is my 3-month review after double jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring (square jaw + chin) at an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic! Before surgery, I was concerned about my long, protruding, concave jaw that looked like a plate. Now, even when I look in the mirror, I don’t feel like I have a concave jaw at all. It feels closer to a plump and shorter look, almost as if I had a successful lifting procedure. Up until one month, I think I had a lot of discomfort with eating and various daily activities, but now I can eat almost any food... To be honest, I’m eating meat, cubed radish kimchi, radish... pork trotters, and chicken. I’m living a life that’s no different from before. As for nerves and sensation, the feeling around my jaw still feels a bit strange, but it has recovered a lot to the point where I can recognize when it’s being touched. From the start, I wasn’t that scared or bothered by that... In the beginning, the biggest discomfort was difficulty breathing and this cautious feeling that my jaw didn’t feel like my own, but after a month, that was gone. I’m just going about daily life well. For recovery, I think it was just taking frequent walks... and talking a lot?? That’s about it. I didn’t make any desperate effort. As I spent time focusing on other things, my mouth started opening wide, and I think I quickly returned to the same condition as before. Maybe because the surgery was done well, aside from about the first week right after surgery, I didn’t have pain severe enough to be very conscious of it. My stamina dropped a lot, so I did build it back up steadily by walking a lot. My satisfaction is the highest. Actually, what I wanted exactly was a natural improvement of my concave jaw, and even before surgery I emphasized many times that I hoped it would be done naturally, so maybe because of that, they really made it look natural. People say my face got smaller and ask if I got my nose done. They don’t really know I had double jaw surgery. So I’m very happy, and I feel relieved because I have fewer concerns. After orthodontic treatment, my mouth had moved very far inward... and my lips were curled inward, so I was also worried that after double jaw surgery I might look like I had a collapsed mouth or too much of a retruded chin, but there’s none of that at all, which is amazing. I’m so thankful to the director for fixing exactly the parts I wanted to make structurally better. I feel grateful every day. Even if I went back, I would have the surgery again haha.
