I’m really cautious and careful by nature, so I went to consultations at 5 clinics for my eyes and more than 10 clinics for my nose, and this place was the kindest.
For my eyes, I consulted with Director Kim Se-young, and for my nose, with Director Kim Jin-woo. The consultation started first with Director Kim Se-young, and I really related to a review that said, in a good way, that there was absolutely no sense of trying to sell anything. Every clinic I went to for eye consultations said my double eyelid had loosened because I had no fat, but Director Kim Se-young examined me very carefully and said the issue was congenital ptosis rather than fat. He suggested that I go to a place that mainly treats ptosis rather than a general plastic surgery clinic, and he didn’t even charge a consultation fee. I liked Director Kim Se-young’s line, so it was a bit disappointing, but I was grateful that he consulted with me so sincerely.
Director Kim Jin-woo was the first person who genuinely worried about me, after I had only been scolded at other clinics because I had side effects from semi-permanent nasal filler I also have rhinitis and nasal congestion, so I was looking for a place that does functional rhinoplasty too. Even though the director doesn’t do functional nose surgery, the reason I was tempted to have surgery there was because of the frontal shape of the nose. I think the side profile looks pretty at every clinic, but clinics with a pretty frontal nose shape are uncommon. But Director Kim Jin-woo’s reviews had especially pretty frontal nose results. The consultation manager also seemed very proud of this point.
Even though I ended up not having surgery there, the reason I’m writing this at length is that, while going around for consultations until now, there were many unfriendly clinics. (I brought an iPad with my desired shape and the questions I wanted to ask, but there was even a clinic where the consultation manager told me not to take out the iPad in front of the director, not to ask questions, and just to listen to the plan..) Clinics that think from the patient’s perspective seem rare, so I’m leaving this because I hope everyone here will at least go for a consultation once!
