Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

K-Plus Community Review

I’m really cautious and careful by nature, so I went to consultations at 5 clinics for eyes and more than 10 clinics for nose, and this was the kindest place.

I had an eye consultation with Director Kim Se-young and a nose consultation with Director Kim Jin-woo. Director Kim Se-young started the consultation first, and I really related to a review that said, in a good way, she had zero intention of trying to sell anything. At every clinic I visited for my eyes, they said my double eyelid loosened because I had no fat, but Director Kim Se-young examined me very thoroughly and said the issue was congenital ptosis rather than fat. She suggested that I go to a place that focuses on ptosis more than a general plastic surgery clinic, and she didn’t even charge a consultation fee. I liked Director Kim Se-young’s line, so it was a bit disappointing, but I was grateful for her sincere consultation.

Director Kim Jin-woo was the first person to genuinely worry about me because I had side effects from semi-permanent nasal filler, whereas at other clinics I only got scoldedㅠㅠ I also have rhinitis and nasal congestion, so I was looking for a place that does functional nose surgery together. Even though the director does not do functional nose surgery, the reason I was tempted by the surgery was the frontal shape of the nose. I think every clinic makes the side profile look pretty, but clinics that make the front view pretty are not common. But Director Kim Jin-woo’s reviews especially had pretty front views of the nose. The consultation manager also seemed very proud of this part.

Even though I ended up not having surgery, the reason I’m writing this at such length is that, while going around to consultations so far, there were many unfriendly clinics. (There was even a clinic where I brought an iPad with the shape I wanted and questions I wanted to ask, but the consultation manager told me not to take out the iPad in front of the director, not to ask questions, and just listen to the plan..) I feel like clinics that think from the patient’s perspective are rare, so I’m leaving this because I hope everyone will at least go for a consultation!
