Complete Nose Implant Removal (+ Day 71) Final Review.

Hi everyone~ I went in yesterday for my 2-month follow-up, and I was told that I’m recovering well. Since it was my last appointment, I felt like I should ask something, lol So I asked about the “contracture period,” and they said that the so-called contracture period itself doesn’t have much significance; it’s just one part of the nose’s recovery process. They told me not to pay too much attention to every little piece of information or story here and there, and to just live well and let things flow naturally. Time is the cure... The end. ^_^ lololol To commemorate that it’s really over, I’ll roughly upload nose photos in chronological order. For reference, my natural nose was a typical small, short, low nose + slightly asymmetrical + uneven nostrils. As you can see from the photos, in the early stage after surgery, the nose shape keeps changing. Probably because of swelling, right? So at least in the early post-op period, instead of dissecting your nose every day down to the nano level and getting thrilled or devastated over every tiny change, I think it’s better to watch it over some time intervals. ◆ Am I satisfied with the surgery?   My goal was only complete removal, including the columella.   I was so exhausted from having an artificial nose, and for the rest of my life, I just desperately wanted to live comfortably with my own nose.   Since that was the only goal of my surgery this time!!!!! I’m very satisfied.   As for the nose shape... if I had to analyze it? I think it returned to about 70-80% similarity!   I think expecting a nose that has already been operated on to be restored exactly the same as the original natural nose is... close to a delusional expectation.   Anyway, if I look at it without thinking too much, it’s my childhood nose. Like a little potato; lol My family all says it’s funny because it looks exactly like my old nose;;;   I’m satisfied~~~~~~~ The process of preparing for surgery really wasn’t easy, but now I just feel relieved and happy. Of course, there’s still a lot of swelling, tightness, and some subtle discomfort lingering around my nose. lolol Time will solve everything, I guess. Anyway, I was very lucky with the hospital, and my vacation timing worked out well too... I think luck played a big role in many ways. It feels like my ancestors helped me get that awful artificial pinched nose out as soon as possible;;;;; On the 1-year anniversary of surgery, I’m planning to have a nose party like a first-birthday party... ^_^ Everyone preparing for complete removal~ With a positive mindset, work hard going around for consultations!!!
