3-Month Review of Chin Advancement Surgery at Yang Yoon-dol

Reason I decided to have surgery : I had felt self-conscious about having a retruded chin since I was young, and I was even uncomfortable with someone sitting next to me, so I decided to have surgery to boost my self-esteem and feel more confident!!!!! Recovery process and changes : It hurt for about 2-3 days, and I could gradually see the swelling going down naturally. Honestly, the hardest part was not being able to eat the foods I wanted. Because of the endotracheal intubation during anesthesia, swallowing was difficult, so even swallowing water was hard, and taking medicine was difficult too. But? Thinking about the fact that I now had a chin and imagining myself a month later, I endured it and ate just enough to keep from collapsing... I normally do not swell much, so I did not swell a lot, and from week 3, I was able to start going out without a mask little by little haha. Even people at work just thought I had lost a lot of weight haha (I actually did lose weight because there was a period when I could not eat!! It worked out well, if anything) Around the 1-month mark, I even went on a trip! As long as it was not extremely hard or spicy, I ate well without much restriction on food!! It looks much more natural now than at 1 month, and it will probably look even more natural at 6 months than it does now, right?! Since the change is visible, it is easy to notice, and I think that makes it even better~~~ Satisfaction with the changes and thoughts : Totally satisfied... If anyone is seriously considering it, definitely do it. You gain confidence, and even if someone sits next to you or sees your side profile, you can feel confident!!!!!!! There is still some tight lumpiness at the tip of my chin, but I am just living with it, thinking it will gradually disappear!! Sometimes I feel a tingling pain, so I wondered if something had gone wrong, but they said it is the process of sensation returning and that it is actually a good thing!!!
